Membership
Membership of The Association of Kayachikitsa (TAK), Nagpur is open to professionals holding a recognized postgraduate qualification in Kayachikitsa (Ayurvedic Internal Medicine). The Association welcomes teachers, physicians, researchers, academicians and practitioners committed to promoting the objectives, ethics and professional standards of Kayachikitsa.
To become a member, an eligible applicant must submit the prescribed membership application form along with the required documents and applicable fees. Membership becomes effective only after verification and approval by the Executive Board. Every approved member receives a Membership Number and a Digital E-Certificate.
Life Membership
- Life Membership Fee: ₹2,500
- Application Fee: ₹100
- Total Payable: ₹2,600
Eligibility
- Recognized M.D. Kayachikitsa / Ayurvedic Medicine qualification.
- Registration with the appropriate Ayurvedic Medical Council.
- Support the aims, objectives and ethics of the Association.
- Submit the prescribed application form along with the required documents and applicable fees.
Membership Rules
Application & Approval
Applications must be submitted with proof of qualification, registration certificate, identity proof, and the prescribed membership fee. Membership becomes effective only after verification and approval by the Executive Board. Membership is personal and non-transferable.
Rights of Members
- Participate in Association activities.
- Attend conferences, seminars, workshops, and academic programmes.
- Receive official publications and communications.
- Vote and contest elections as per the Association Constitution.
- Submit suggestions for the development of Kayachikitsa.
Duties of Members
- Follow the Constitution, Rules and Regulations of the Association.
- Maintain professional ethics, integrity and discipline.
- Actively support and promote the objectives of the Association.
- Keep personal and professional information updated with the Association.
- Pay applicable membership subscriptions and other approved charges on time.
Important Information
- Membership may be suspended or terminated for violation of the Association's Constitution or Code of Conduct.
- Membership fees are generally non-refundable once approved.
- Members may resign by submitting a written request to the Executive Board.
- Membership fees and rules may be revised with the approval of the General Body.
- Every approved member receives a unique Membership Number and a Digital E-Certificate.
